Explore the culturally rich south of Ireland with Mary as she introduces you to her childhood home and all of its wonders. Experience the magnificence of the Irish countryside and the essence of the people who live there.

Our goal with the Fit and Healthy Journeys retreat is to create an environment where the most stressful decision you have to make is whether you want jam or butter on your morning scone.

Experience the magic and mystery that has captured the imagination of famous authors such as James Joyce, Oscar Wilde, C.S. Lewis and of course WB Yeats.

Join us on a journey of self discovery as we traverse the Irish countryside and discover the rich folklore and history of this ancient country.

Rebalance Your Energy

Breathe in the fresh air of Ireland as you experience the Emerald Isle in its raw and natural form. The Retreat will leave you feeling mentally reborn and your body restored. Find inspiration with your fellow retreaters, through the locally sourced food, energizing yoga, meditation, reiki and breath sessions. Salute the sun on beautiful beaches with amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean or find connection with the land and its history in a beautiful 18th century manor house and gardens. 

Indulge your palette

Enjoy meals prepared specially for you by our on site gourmet chef using local sourced ingredients. Within the manor enjoy formal dinners served under candlelight on the large antique dining table, providing the feel of what it was to be a member of Ireland’s aristocratic class. Venture out into the local villages to sample the diverse local and traditional fare. From pubs to cafe’s, Ireland is rich in ambience for every occasion. Irish soda bread and scones are definitely on the menu.


Take the road less traveled

The road less traveled is a choose your own adventure retreat. Rest and relaxation are our top priority. Make each day your own by choosing to remain within the manor, explore the grounds or view Ireland on carefully organized adventures. Each day you may choose to participate in the adventures or stay home, no preplanning or scheduling required. In the morning simply choose to ride the bus or stay home and enjoy a day of rest and relaxation.

Like to take an adventure? We have several possibilities Embrace the wild beauty of Ireland’s coast on a boat tour of Dursley Island and Bull Rock. In the company of passionate local guides, pass around the dramatic cliffs and learn about the island’s history with Vikings and the misfortune of its Gaelic chieftains. Cruise though the natural sea arches which were once believed to be the path to the underworld and view the remains of the cast iron lighthouse on Calf Rock and relive the heroic rescue of its crew. Keep a watch for Whales, Dolphins, sharks, seals, and otters, all of which call this stunning seascape home.

 Visit Ireland’s most South-Westerly point on the Wild Atlantic Way and feel the raw power of nature in this iconic headland. Rich in both natural and human history, Mizen Head has played a significant role in transatlantic shipping, communication and has afforded many Irish emigrant’s their final glimpse of home as they departed for a new life half way around the world. The story of Mizen head and its signal station is eloquently told through exhibits and displays in the old signal station giving visitors insight into what life was like to man both the signal station and the Fastnet Lighthouse located on the tiny Fastnet Island off the coast.

Visit Kilcrea Castle and Friary which are minutes away from the manor, built in the 15th century by Cormac MacCarthy, King of Munster, or take a trip to Cormac’s most famous project, Blarney Castle 20min away on the edge of Cork City. Cork, the second largest city in Ireland is home to amazing historic architecture as well as some of the finest shops and restaurants in Ireland.
